Refund Policy

This policy applies to downloadable digital maps sold by Cascadia Interactive Inc. through EarthMC. It forms part of the Terms of Sale.

Immediate delivery and change-of-mind refunds

EarthMC supplies digital content without physical media and makes it available promptly after payment. By requesting immediate access and, where required, expressly consenting to delivery during a statutory cancellation period, the customer asks EarthMC to begin performance immediately.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, EarthMC does not provide a change-of-mind refund after any authorized download of the purchased product begins, even if that particular transfer does not finish.

When a download begins

An authorized download begins when EarthMC accepts an authenticated account request or valid download-token request and starts preparing or delivering the file or a signed object-storage link. EarthMC records the authorized attempt before handing off or streaming the large file.

The attempt still counts as begun if the transfer is interrupted or fails because of the customer's internet connection, device, browser, storage capacity, security software, third-party download tool, closing the request, or another circumstance outside EarthMC's delivery system. The customer should use the available account access to retry before requesting support.

Problems that remain eligible for a remedy

This policy does not remove rights or remedies that applicable law makes mandatory. Contact EarthMC if:

• EarthMC never provides authorized access to the product because of a failure in its own systems;
• the supplied archive is corrupt or materially defective and a replacement download does not resolve the problem;
• the product is materially different from the description or lacks a compatibility feature expressly promised at the time of sale;
• the same order or product was charged more than once by mistake;
• the payment was unauthorized or fraudulent; or
• another mandatory consumer guarantee, cancellation right, or payment right applies despite the immediate-delivery rule.

Depending on the problem and applicable law, the remedy may be restored access, a replacement archive, technical correction, a price reduction, or a full or partial refund. EarthMC may reasonably try to repair delivery or replace a defective file before issuing a refund where the law permits.

Issues that normally do not qualify

Subject to mandatory law, a refund is not normally available because the customer changed their mind after download began; selected the wrong scale or a clearly stated unsupported game version; lacks enough bandwidth or disk space; cannot configure a server; modified or damaged the files; lost a local copy while account redownload remains available; or shared access in breach of the Map License.

How to request help or a refund

Email [email protected] with the account email, order or payment reference, product, approximate purchase time, and a concise description of the problem. Do not send passwords, full card numbers, signed download URLs, or archives.

We may review payment, entitlement, delivery-attempt, and error records to verify the request. Approved refunds are returned through the original payment provider where practicable. Provider processing times are outside EarthMC's control.

External payment disputes

Nothing in this policy prevents a customer from reporting an unauthorized payment or using a mandatory dispute process. Contacting EarthMC first for an ordinary delivery problem usually gives us the fastest opportunity to restore the purchased content or correct a duplicate charge.
