Install your world

  1. Download your purchased scale and edition from your account. Each purchase includes one scale and one underground edition.
  2. Extract the complete archive. The 1:217 download is a 7z file; use 7-Zip or a compatible extractor. All other downloads are ZIP files. Check the storage table before extracting.
  3. Use the Earth1000, Earth543, Earth326 or Earth217 folder containing level.dat. Keep its data, datapacks and dimensions directories together.
  4. For single-player, place the world folder in your Minecraft Java 26.2 saves directory. For a server, stop it, back up its existing world, copy in the map and set level-name in server.properties to the folder name. Use server software compatible with this save format.
  5. Keep the bundled datapacks and data/minecraft/world_gen_settings.dat. All four scales use Y −64 through 319. The included no-lava datapack disables lava lakes and springs.
  6. Choose your game mode. Vanilla downloads are saved in Spectator; Non-Vanilla downloads are saved in Creative. Server owners can set gamemode=survival and force-gamemode=true while the server is stopped. In single-player, enable commands if needed, then use /gamemode survival.
  7. Set a border for your scale and keep a backup before upgrading Minecraft or changing generation settings.

Downloads, prices & storage

The price is a one-time USD purchase for the selected scale and edition. Vanilla and Non-Vanilla cost the same at each scale. 1:217 is available only as Non-Vanilla.

Sizes use decimal GB (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes), measured from the supplied archives. Combined storage includes the archive and extracted files. Allow additional space for filesystem allocation, backups, server data and new chunks. An Underilla output world needs additional storage beyond this table.

Geography & world specifications

These maps cover latitude 80° south to 80° north and longitude 179° west to 179° east. Polar caps and the narrow strip at the antimeridian are outside the supplied area. The projection is Web Mercator (EPSG:3857), so geographic distortion increases toward the poles.

A smaller scale denominator creates a larger world: at 1:1000, one block represents a nominal 1,000 meters; at 1:217, it represents 217 meters. Terrain height uses a separate vertical scale. The 1:1000 and 1:543 maps use 10× vertical exaggeration; 1:326 and 1:217 use 5×. Water level is Y 62 and build height is Y −64 to 319.

Mapped dimensions follow the Non-Vanilla terrain footprint at each scale. Edge coordinates are outer boundaries; the final included block is one below each maximum. Vanilla archives also include generated edge chunks. Screenshots show examples from the new collection; views and detail vary by location, scale, edition and shaders.

World borders

These maps are rectangular. For compatible Paper servers, Chunky and ChunkyBorder can apply a rectangular border. Minecraft’s built-in world border is square. Replace world below with your actual world name; these commands select a border and do not start generation.

Use the same border for both editions at a given scale. Consult the Chunky commands and ChunkyBorder guide for the version installed on your server.

Underground editions & Underilla

Vanilla includes pre-generated vanilla underground cave terrain. Non-Vanilla provides solid dirt underground for your own custom generation workflow. Both are Minecraft Java worlds; these labels describe the underground, not a requirement to install client mods.

The 1:217 world is extremely large, so we only provide Non-Vanilla. Its archive is about 68.69 GB and extracts to about 423.64 GB. We recommend Underilla if you want to generate your own custom vanilla underground.

Underilla runs on a compatible Paper server and creates a new world using the supplied surface as a reference. Adding the plugin to an existing world does not automatically regenerate all of its underground. Follow its current documentation and choose a release that explicitly supports your Minecraft version and world layout. Keep the purchased world as a backup, test a small area, then generate the area you need. Budget additional disk space and processing time for the output world; processing the entire 1:217 map is a substantial job.

Once generated, use the output world according to Underilla’s installation instructions. A ready-made 1:217 Vanilla download is not included in this purchase.

Choosing between new and legacy maps

We recommend Full Earth (2026) for new purchases. Older legacy maps are unsupported, may look different, may break with newer Minecraft versions, and lack content added since their creation. Existing purchases remain in your account; purchasing a new edition gives access to that separate product.
